Luc is asked by well drillers to assist with the monitoring of the collars of sealed water wells.

He assesses the existing approach, and identifies the way to establish a standardized procedure.

Luc’s method not only allows drillers to oversee the installation and supervision of their equipment, it also provides a certified record via a time stamped video file.

In winter 2015, Luc sees an increase of demand – for his environmental assessments – on the side of medium to large businesses looking to sell their companies. They soon realize that Luc has more to offer above and beyond the physical assessemnt of their properties.

Luc’s experience in different international businesses, combined with his knowledge in finances, business structures and tax regulations, gives him access to a entire network of buyers. Working with Luc allows them to streamline the selling of their business, resulting in major savings and quicker transactions.

Luc and wife Nicole, travel to the Philippines and fall in love with the country and their people. They are inspired by their eagerness and intelligence to learn and work. They open their Phillippine office with CAD drafters.

Luc and wife Nicole become residents of Panama in January 2014. They love the country and visit on a regular basis.

Luc sees an opportunity to give back to the communities with his knowledge in environmental science. He is studying ways to help with the disposal of garbage and hazardous materials.

Having employed workers in Northern Quebec, Luc understands the shortage of manpower, and the value of having a resource pool of skilled labor to draw from as needed. Luc founds Man Power Rental, with the goal to help fill the massive shortage occurring in industrial sectors throughout Canada. The service intends to fill medium term and short term gaps in manpower for industrial businesses.

This project has been put on ice since the Canadian government has restrained the temporary workers program.

Service Techni-Col invests in three drills to address various geotechnical drilling requirements such as Standard Penetration Tests (SPT).

In 2005, Luc expands his expertise to water management. Luc, and wife Nicole, launch their engineering branch Services Teckni-Col. Luc is the main engineer, and has his licenses to work not only in Quebec, but also in Ontario, New Brunswick and Alberta.

In 1996, Luc and wife Nicole acquire Domaine Driftwood (now Driftwood Outfitters) – a resort in Northern Quebec. The resort becomes famous for Nicole’s fine cuisine. In 2002, wanting to expand their resort, Nicole sits down and designs upscale log cabins, Luc handles the engineering, and they start building. The new cabins are exquisitely decorated and welcoming. Their design, interior and exterior, and solid construction wins many awards and attracts many celebrities.

The resort now is used for exclusive upscale meetings and gatherings. The management of the resort is handled by a gentleman, who stated that it was a “Dream come true” for him. This allows Luc and Nicole to focus on their septic system design.

Luc is recruited by the president of Dolo-Mine and becomes the project engineer for what is now the most modern lime plant in Canada.
